Unchain Fund
Alex Casas
Unchain is a charity project created by blockchain activists – open to everyone. With your support we can quickly raise and distribute money to the people of Ukraine – to where they need it the most.We are urgently raising funds for the support of the Ukrainian people - supporting effective NGO's doing work on the ground right now. These NGOs include:Voices of ChildrenVostok SOSProject C.U.R.EInternational Medical CorpsPeople In NeedPolish Centre for International AidWe are consulting with the community for further effective NGOs to support. These will be decided by the community. Our larger goal is to help Ukraine become the country it deserves to be: peaceful, successful, substantive, friendly, educated, and free.Let’s unchain the real power of blockchain for the good. Our goal is to break the chain of war and scatter its links far away from each other. So that they could never meet again. Our main method of fundraising is through the sale of NFTs. These can be purchased or you can make a simple donation.Important! We don’t raise money for weapons. We raise money for medicine, evacuation and repair needs, food and clothes. Our priority is to help civilians.Let’s break this chain together.FAQHow do I know funds will make it to the organizations listed? All donations garnered go to a multi-signature wallet before being distributed to our chosen effective organizations. Each signatory to this wallet are active in the larger cryptosphere and have made their wallet addresses public. All transactions are publicly readable on the blockchain here.Only after a majority of signatories sign a transaction can funds be moved. This is an extra measure of security against rugpulls and bad actors. How were the NGO's chosen?NGO's were chosen based on the following guidelines:1. Must be local, have history of working in Ukraine, or preparing for refugee support2. Must be focused on non-military aid3. Highly rated by Charity Watch and Charity Navigator, or strongly vetted4. Recently activeNGO's will still be decided by community vote.I have a question / how can I get involved?Join us on our Discord server here.

This 8-day retreat will be part of a 3-month healing and integration program to help deal with deep complex trauma & PTSD. Click here to watch the testimonial of Chris, a former fighter pilot that attended last April's retreat. Chris had a truly transformational experience and even recorded a podcast to tell the story of how the retreat, the medicine & the program, practically saved his life, you can listen to Chris's fascinating story by clicking here We are in talks to raise ($60k) the funds needed to cover the full retreat for 15-20 ex-military & first responders. Also to note, we have been approached by a production company to film the hero's journey that could potentially go out to Netflix, amazing prime, or Disney. One of the tools we teach is The Havening technique, a revolutionary psycho-sensory healing modality that de-potentiates traumatically encoded memories in the amygdala. Here are some videos from some of our clients to whom we have been offering these tools click here You can also read about the science behind this technique by clicking here Our vision is to empower people with modern neuroscience healing modalities to remember that they are the medicine needed to heal themselves. I am a product of my own environment having had substantial trauma in my early years, after seeking help and having extensive therapy, I became a practitioner of NLP, timeline therapy, hypnosis, and the havening psycho sensory trauma modality.PTSD, fear, depression & anxiety are prevalent in today's society. Shenanigan
Marc Louis-charles
SHE redefines the paradigm of what it means to be an athlete and fan on the internet.Shenanigan (aka SHE) is a decentralized NFT and ERC20 platform built on xDai, designed for athletes to tokenize their accomplishments in a merit-driven, collectible economy. Fans will be able to directly invest in and empower their favorite athletes and their achievements. SHE enables athletes to harness their best monetary asset: themselves.SHE brings forth opportunities never heard of in the traditional financial system. Each athlete powered by Web 3.0 (AKA “Dathlete”) generates a personal DAO that functions as both a fan page and athlete investment platform. Accomplishments are documented and challenges are minted into collectible NFTs. Creation of an athlete’s initial NFT will also mint personal ERC20 tokens that can be evaluated based on size of an athlete’s fanbase, as well as their performance. This enables Dathletes of all denominations to have fans invest directly in their future success, and decrease reliance on branding and sponsorships. It also allows fans to prospect on athletes for whom they see potential and realize gains in a way that completely disrupts the conventional sports collectible market.

Peer Collective
Tom Brady
Hello! We are building Peer Collective, a startup which will re-define mental health across the world. We find and train amazing people (peer counselors) and match them with people in need. It really works. We pay our counselors $20/hour and users are charged $28-$32/hour. We have lots of amazing users and lots of amazing peer counselors - but we could be doing more. That's where we need your help. A lot of people who use our service cannot afford psychotherapy and so any money we raise from Giveth will be used to help those people get free access to support. We also want to be able to pay our peer counselors more as they are amazing people with incredible talents, so we'll also use contributions from Giveth for that. If you need to work through anything and want to choose a counselor with lived experience who you can pick by identity, ethnicity, age who will be here for you today then come and give us a try. Thanks for all your help and support! 💙💙💙

The Dandelion Foundation
Marc Winn
We need a new model of human thriving for up to 10 billion people that is within planetary boundaries. We believe that Small Island States can be inspired and enabled to contribute directly towards this challenge. Our theory of change is simple.Unlock the capacity for innovation in small island states through the long term building of social capital. Most island communities have the ideas, tools, resources and people to solve their own challenges but they lack the depth of relationships, collective will and inspiration to make that possible. How Do We Unlock the Innovation? We aim to continue to run a series of experiments to develop a working model for social capital building that can be used on islands to empower populations to solve their own challenges. Why Guernsey as the First Location?Guernsey is situated 50 km off the north-west coast of France, in the Bay of St. Malo and 120 km from the English coast. An independent and self-governing island forming part of the southernmost group of islands that make up the British Isles, the Bailiwick of Guernsey includes the smaller neighbouring islands of Sark, Herm and Alderney. The island has a total surface area of 25 square miles, with a population of around 63,000.As a small self-governing nation, Guernsey is a microcosm, operating on a human scale. In small states like Guernsey, it is possible to solve complex systemic issues in ways that cannot currently be achieved in large nation-states. Guernsey has already used its small size and autonomy to become a global leader in many areas of social and economic innovation. Guernsey is fortunate to have an excellent public-sector service for its size and population, including a high-quality health service with good coverage and excellent schools. It has a culture of innovation, flexibility and rapid change when necessary. With the right values and social capital, a good idea can become law and/or national policy within two years. We at the Dandelion Foundation have long believed that small nation-states that can set their own laws, decide how their resources are used and have the social capital to solve complex challenges, can achieve audacious goals.Island communities like Guernsey can create a blueprint for large scale change recognising that there are many other small island states with different social profiles around the world that can also contribute to the innovation necessary to create a model for human thriving that fits within planetary boundaries. Is it time for Location 2?We are interested in experimenting in a 2nd small island state with a different social profile to see if a social capital building process can make a difference in wider contexts. If you are interested in partnering with us in another jurisdiction please get in touch.More information at http://www.dandelion.gg

Sage to Saddle
natebressler1@gmail.com
Sage to Saddle aims to keep Native American youth focused on healthier alternatives to the prevalent poverty and substance abuse they live with, which are both major contributors to late winter’s “suicide season”. On America’s reservations, this suicide rate is four times the national average. With 20 years dedicated to photographing America’s West, Nate Bressler realized while on photo-assignment shooting Native American horse racing teams for Outside Magazine, that a winter horse riding facility would greatly benefit the community of Pine Ridge. He teamed up with Lakota Native, Stan Brewer, the driving force behind Pine Ridge’s horse community who acts as Riding Arena Coordinator. Together, they created lofty but attainable goals that will bring structure, education, celebration, not to mention a safe haven, along with the opportunity for these Native youth to lift their chins with pride. Sage to Saddle, with the support of the Pine Ridge community, hopes to provide this indoor horse riding arena for kids from 8-18 years old with an after-school program focused on equine relationships and the responsibilities horse care involves. Rotating through arena activities and the required time for completing homework in the attached classroom, students of the program will be granted the opportunity to carry on a horse nation’s tradition with the very animal that made their survival possible. Rounding out the Sage to Saddle team, Angela Smith grew up in Utah, exploring the Mountains and Deserts throughout the West. She has been involved with nonprofits throughout her life, supporting differing charities and causes through volunteering, increasing public awareness, organizing private donations and events. While working in the field of software, design, and technology, she currently supports local groups involved with homeless families, mental health and addiction issues, and veteran work training programs in San Diego, CA.

We are hard at work regenerating an entire bioregional territory in Barichara, Colombia. Check out our website to get a better feel for how things have progressed so far. The project I share here is for one key piece of the bigger puzzle -- we want to raise $15,000 to set up a learning center that focuses on the transformation of food, healing of cultural traumas, and cultivation of leadership among women in the community. Some of you may know that we recently raised $120,000 equivalent in Ethereum to begin negotiations for the purchase of a strategic piece of land. The mission for that effort is to restore native forest, bring a dead river back to life, and do so by establishing it as the future home of Barichara Ecoversity. This project is a key step in the process to establish the ecoversity. We have an amazing woman in our village named Margarita. For years now, she has been a weaver of community whose work has focused on cultural healing through the transformation of food. She is poised to establish a learning center that works with a diversity of campesino groups throughout the region with a special focus on the empowerment of women. We want to give her and her team the ability to devote a full year to the incubation of this new learning center that grows out of many years establishing trust and collaborating with a lot of diverse people. Can you help us make this a success?

Vukani
Tim Olsson
Zimbabwe is a country facing severe challenges in the area of food security due both to political and environmental factors as well as widespread poverty. The rural areas are especially vulnerable as they are far from central aid, and the children are as always the most vulnerable of all. Lack of food during our developmental years has effects beyond going to bed hungry. A lack of nutrients does not only negatively impact ones mental capacity and bodily development in the short term, but it can also have quite dire consequences in the longer term. If we are to have a future at all, it is the young who must receive the most of our attention and energy for it is not only they who must take on the task of creating a better tomorrow, they are the ones who will be around to experience it. Vukani, which means "Wake up" is a pilot project that aims to wake people up to the fact that local, sustainable farming is the only reliable path forward in an increasingly unstable world. The goal of the project is to grow food for the local school children, providing them with the nutrients they will need to develop their bodies and minds. If the project works, we will replicate it with a number of rural schools in Zimbabwe, in Africa and across the globe.

The project initiated in 2019 where we dug a borehole but we now need the funds to pump and distribute the water and create a solar-powered irrigation system before the dry season that starts in April, as well as funds to seed, tend and harvest.

Support our SAFE PAD and menstrual hygiene awareness project. Adolescent pregnancy, occurring in girls aged 10–19 years, remains a serious health and social problem in Tembisa South Africa , and has been associated with numerous risk factors evident in the young people's family, peer, school, and in neighbourhood contexts. Nobody deserves the indignity of having to use leaves, newspapers, used socks, old mattress cuttings or rags to clean her menstrual flow. These materials are not only ineffective but also unhygienic and uncomfortable in cleaning menstrual flow. In Tembisa, school going girls of menstrual age are either forced to endure this humiliation or be absent from school. For the brave girls who want to remain in school and build a bright future,  a large number of them confess to facing stigma that comes from unhygienic menstrual hygiene management, the odor of improperly managed menstrual blood or shocking stories of how they did not know what to do during their first menstrual period. As for those who choose the easy way out, research has uncovered shocking statistics of adolescent young girls missing school in Tembisa due to menstruation. Moreover, this state of affairs is worsened by the lack of information on menstrual matters as well as a deep culture of taboos, myths and misconceptions surrounding menstruation and menstrual blood. At JROMSA, we believe that young girls should not be left alone to make these tough choices.

Lyme disease is life on HARD mode
Bradley Machamer
It's hard to dream big when you can't get out of bed. Health is so foundational, that without it, work, play and everything in between becomes hard (even impossible). After six years, four doctors and an obscene amount of medical bills, I should know.My name is Bradley, and I've been fighting Lyme disease/CIRS for almost a decade but I went undiagnosed until 2016. It's been a hell of a journey and has turned my life completely upside down."This is fine", I told myself for years. My body said otherwise, and used sickness to finally get my attention. In January 2016, I got my diagnosis: Lyme disease, they said. Take these pills, they said. Oddly, it was a relief to have a concrete label for my problems -- I wasn't crazy or psychosomatic.I began full-time treatment, optimistic that this would be a short skirmish and then I'd be healthy and able to work again. Nothing but a blip on the radar, right? Well, my high hopes wore off in five minutes as I quickly realised--thanks to Google--my illness was chronic and perhaps incurable. Still, I was determined not to give up so early in the game. And so the next six years of fighting the good fight began with a bang (or was it a whimper?).Over time, "How do I get better?" became "Can I get better?" and ended in "I won't get better." I tried increasingly alternative medicines and treatments--from herbs to saunas to coffee enemas to energy medicine--bouncing around from doctor to doctor, but I didn't get better. Apparently, some problems in life don't go away even when you throw money at them. I had done everything right but was still just as sick as ever. And then, the money ran out. You see, conditions like Lyme disease are misunderstood by the medical community and largely uncovered by insurance companies. I had been paying for my treatment almost entirely out-of-pocket (goodbye, retirement) but after being unemployed for 3 years, my bank account was tapped out.Depression set in (again). I quietly contemplated suicide and life felt meaningless. But God held me back from falling into the void. I managed to raise money and that bought me more time to keep gambling for my life. I started from scratch with a new doctor and an additional diagnosis of mold biotoxin illness (AKA chronic inflammatory response syndrome -- CIRS).In an attempt to outrun my illness, I couchsurfed my way across the USA, bouncing around--like a ping pong ball--from Birmingham to Tucson to California to Seattle and finally back to Tucson, this time for good. By the skin of my teeth, I landed a position cooking at a four-star resort actually, starting at the bottom as a dishwasher for six months and working my way up. My troubles were far behind me, and I was moving up in the world. The debilitating stress of working in kitchens quickly caught up with me, and I burned out hard. I got horribly sick--was it 'Rona? We'll never know--and had a medical incident at work one day. I laid in bed, feeling as close to death as I've ever been. But an emergency ozone IV saved my life -- clearly, God had other plans.I moved back in with my parents and laid low, hoping to recover rapidly in six months and "get back" (like the Beatles song). But almost two years later, I'm still stuck at START (like Monopoly: "Do not pass GO, do not collect $200"), with a condition that leaves me unable to work and unable to get disability. Something has to change."But you don't look sick," people have said to me countless times, usually with a smile or a shrug. I don't blame them, because I've learned how to put on a good show. I have mastered the art of acting and looking fine, even when I'm actually hanging on by the skin of my teeth, propped up by painkillers, herbs and God knows what else. The truth is ugly: on an average day, the symptoms of Lyme/CIRS reduce your quality of life to somewhere between congestive heart failure and having the worst flu ever. Excruciating joint pain/arthritis, chronic fatigue, brain fog, depression -- these are just a few symptoms that make it hard even to get out of bed.Like Albert Camus said, "Nobody realises that some people expend tremendous energy merely to be normal." It's so draining and difficult to go out in public, drive, or just complete basic tasks. To not give up is an art--and a science--in itself. Sometimes, it's enough if the only thing you did today was breathe. After 6 years, 4 doctors, and an obscene amount of medical bills, I would love to close this chapter of sickness forever and get back to the business of living. But whenever I move on, I burn out repeatedly. And I can't afford to let it happen again. So I'm back at the beginning: get healthy. There's just one problem: Lyme/CIRS are emerging conditions that are ignored or misunderstood by medical providers and largely uncovered by insurance and disability. In the end, illnesses that are 99% invisible get you sympathy and pity but not much else, as you're left to rot away at home. People like me are too sick to work, paying for treatment mostly out-of-pocket and unable to get disability. Sounds like the perfect storm for depression, and eventually, suicide. This is unsustainable, and something has to change. So, what's next? Good question. I'm working with a new doctor, a new diagnosis for CIRS/biotoxin illness, and a new, comprehensive protocol that addresses the root causes of both CIRS and remaining Lyme disease. Things look promising. For the first time in years, I'm feeling optimistic that I may have a shot at getting better, IF I can afford the treatment. With your help, I hope to raise $20,000 for medical treatment. This opens doors for me to get comprehensive care, access to the best medicine available-- from ozone to IV therapy to better pain management --and treat my illness aggressively.Any amount can make a big difference in helping me to have a better future. But even if you can't donate, take a second and SHARE my story, and I will be forever grateful. Thanks so much for your support!
