<a href="https://web3privacy.info/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Web3Privacy Now</a> is a non-profit, open-source initiative committed to promoting privacy and freedom within the Web3 ecosystem. We believe that digital privacy is a fundamental human right and build and coordinate to ensure it is upheld in the decentralized web. Our Mission: Our goal is to educate, advocate, and develop tools that enable individuals to take control of their digital privacy. By fostering a <a href="https://docs.web3privacy.info/about-us/culture/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">culture</a> of privacy in Web3 and beyond, we aim to protect individuals from unwarranted surveillance and data commodification. Key Achievements: <ul><li>Comprehensive Research and Databases: We have developed extensive <a href="https://github.com/web3privacy/web3privacy" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">database</a> of privacy services, use cases, and <a href="https://web3privacy.info/research/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">research</a> providing valuable resources for the community via an accessible <a href="https://explorer.web3privacy.info/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">website</a>.</li><li>Community Engagement: Through free <a href="https://web3privacy.info/events/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">events</a> like the <a href="https://congress.web3privacy.info/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Ethereum Cypherpunk Congress</a>, we bring together diverse groups to discuss and promote privacy and freedom in the digital age. We organized 12 events in 2024 with over 5000 attendees and 75+ speakers.</li><li>Advocacy and Education: Our <a href="https://docs.web3privacy.info/about-us/manifesto/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">manifesto</a>, <a href="https://academy.web3privacy.info/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">academy</a>, <a href="https://news.web3privacy.info/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">newsletter</a> and other educational materials (e.g. <a href="https://absorbing-diagram-66b.notion.site/Privacy-Builder-Pack-2cae5f1e195c4970b4eb41a14d3f4bde" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">privacy-builder-pack</a>) serve as foundational resources for understanding and implementing privacy in Web3 and beyond.</li></ul> Transparency: We receive support - material and else (membership/sponsorship), from organizations around the globe (event-specific, or 1 year around) so we can continue making free events and build open-source databases and projects to strengthen privacy movement. 2025 Explorations: We aim to kick-off a privacy and freedom-focused podcast, get involved in onchain DAO governance (via delegation), publish w3pn-financial transparency report, web3 privacy report for the institutions as well as organizing our 1ˢᵗ hackathon/buildathon, build a bounty/grant platform, and more!Support our efforts to make digital privacy a reality for all.
