ECO HOUSE

Eco House Global is an&nbsp;Action for Sustainability&nbsp;non profit organization born in Argentina, with projects in Latin America, Europe and Africa, specialized in education, politics, communication, consultancy and ecological restoration. Currently, EHG works with more than 40 programs,&nbsp;most of them internationally recognized.In other words, we are a club of people who work together to make the world a better place through small (and big!) multiplicable actions. WHAT WE DO&nbsp; | GETTING TO KNOW ECO HOUSE | <a href="http://bit.ly/ecohouse-whatwedo" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">bit.ly/ecohouse-whatwedo</a> After a long journey across the HELPING ocean, we discovered The Three Crisis; three mermaid-goddesses, whose influence in the emotions, actions and thoughts of humanity give origin to all the economic, social and environmental problems we know. <ul><li>They are: Pneuma, the Existential-Spiritual Crisis; Ethos, the Ethical Crisis (temporary and atemporary); and Pathos, the Emotional Intelligence Crisis.</li></ul> First, they generously taught us about diversity, to accept the temporal, geographic, cultural, physical, energetic, emotional, mental and spiritual characteristics that make up each individual and each community. Then, we learned that there are different ways to overcome them:&nbsp;<ul><li>The path of Art.</li><li>The path of Science.</li><li>The path of Politics.</li><li>The path of Religion.</li></ul>&nbsp;Therefore, in Eco House we decided to explore these roads via a classic but revolutionary tool: a HELPING club. However, what is helping? Give what we would like to be given? Is it to give what someone asks us for? Or is it to give what they need? (Or what I think they need?) Is it providing tools and teaching how to use them? Give, make, build, teach, listen? Furthermore, why do we do it? Are we driven to help others by the self satisfaction of it or by others real needs? Are we driven by religious mandates or by our own ideals? Do we expect retribution (either in this life or another)? Could it be a case of “you scratch my back, I´ll scratch yours”? Do we help others because it is the right thing to do? Is there a reason to help others? Is helping others part of our human nature or is it something we have acquired? Should this “help” be material, social, educational, spiritual, environmental? Should we only help other human beings? What about animals? What about our dear Earth? Are some causes more deserving of our help than others?&nbsp; Clearly, there isn´t only one way of HELPING (or is it? What do you think?). At ECO HOUSE, we chose to help by trying to solve the present environmental and climate crisis. Why? Because “the care of our common house” has a huge opportunity within: THE POTENTIAL TO RECOVER THE SENSE OF COMMUNITY (and with it, our own humanity).To this end, we agreed to focus and invest our time and energy in fueling seven branches of "THE TRANSITION TO SUSTAINABILITY".&nbsp;&nbsp;<ol><li>Restore devastated ecosystems.&nbsp;</li><li>Preserve biodiversity.</li><li>Evolve towards a self-sufficient, collaborative, circular and solidarity-based socioeconomic system. &nbsp;</li><li>Educate for sustainability.&nbsp;</li><li>Empower youth for climate and ecological action.</li><li>Transform the short-term political system into “politics for sustainability”.</li><li>Finance the above points.&nbsp;</li></ol> In order to make this reality, we team-up in a non-profit organisation specialized in education, politics, economy and volunteering for sustainability, organised across different Departments, Programs and Focal Points under the motto “it is time to turn words into action”. At Eco House, pluralism is part of our DNA. There are many ways of doing things right! And however small or big, every step in the right direction counts. Cause both produce mutual feedback!&nbsp; Considering The Crisis reminds us every day that ‘the mind should guide emotions, and spirit should drive mind’, our aim is to be an inspiration that nourishes, with each ephemeral action, the eternity within us.
