Sikizana Trust for Community Development runs a safe house for orphans and abandoned children and child survivors of gender-based violence, sexual abuse, and early marriage rescues. The rescued children are enrolled in both formal and vocational schools, undergo post-trauma counselling, and, where applicable, are assisted in any litigation process. This project targets the rescued children ages 8 to 15 under the care of Sikizana Trust. We are remotely located in a rural area in Makueni County, adjacent to the Tsavo West National Park and thus to digital tools and connectivity. This limits the children's ability to compete in the modern, digitally driven world. We seek to create a digital training hub for rural children and youth with an additional 40 PCs, 40 chairs, 20 tables, printers, and installation. Rural children are at risk of being left out in the increasingly digital world that is no longer just an advantage but a necessity. We have already started minimally at Sikizana Trust with four PCs and serving 60 children. Your support will help us build a lifelong capacity in our young people, increase their employability, and empower them for sustainable livelihood. The following activities shall shall run concurrently with receipt of funds.<ol><li>purchase of PCs, printers, tables, chairs and installation</li><li>Training continues and increases with each extra PC acquired</li></ol>
