We were able to distribute tons of water and trucks loads of hygiene supplies, especially to the villages in the disaster area. As we for saw, by the months passed the main problem of the victims turned into housing problems, and we were able to pay 64 rents for people who were not sure if they would have a house next month.

By the time, a lot of more professional NGOs picked up the long term treatment of the victims. Our first impact was done and continued housing help will not be sustainable after this point. More importantly there are other disasters happening around the world and Giveth is trying to help again.

So by thanking all our donors and Giveth team, we are deactivating this project and will support other disaster funds.

We will also be helping local NGOs to onboard Giveth and raise funds.

We are pleased to announce that we have continued to provide aid to the disaster-stricken region this month. Our team successfully distributed a second water truck and 100 packages of hygiene products to the district of Antakya and its surrounding villages, as previously agreed upon.

In total, our team distributed approximately 50 tons of water via the two trucks sent to the area. We also shipped 100 packages filled with hygiene products, as well as provided direct financial aid to survivor families. Specifically, we sent 30,000 Turkish Lira to five families in need, and we also sent an additional 5,000 Lira to the volunteers who helped distribute the aid to cover their fuel costs.

Our organization is also working with university blockchain clubs to expand our reach to student communities and connect with survivor students. Through this collaboration, we are onboarding students to our DAO Operator Program, which is designed to encourage participants to join Bankless Turkish, take on defined tasks, and receive both BANK tokens offered by BanklessDAO’s International Media Nodes Project, and USDC tokens provided from the fund, once they complete their tasks. The ultimate goal is to empower participants to take on roles in global DAOs and achieve financial freedom.

Thanks to our donors, first truck of water has arrived. Supplies has been distributed to 10 villages by the help of our frens volunteering in the area. We also support the volunteer team with gas, so they can distribute the goods.

• Three weeks have passed since the earthquake in southeastern Turkey
• Urgent supplies, such as water, food, and hygiene products, were sent in the first week through municipality channels
• Coordination failures in the second week led to a portion of funds being allocated towards a rent pool for homeless victims and two animal NGOs
• Concerns about decreasing aid targeting the region have come true, with diminishing supplies and failing tent camps
• BanklessDAO is engaged with ANKA Relief to establish a DAO and distribute micro grants to NGOs onboarded to encourage them to look for funds across the web3 ecosystem
• Donors are encouraged to join discussions in their discord server
• Direct donations will continue next week.

@ahbap's crytpo wallet is not used anymore. Government had let them to use a wallet only for a week.

One week has passed since the earthquake hit Turkey on February 6. People have been sending us donations wholeheartedly, and we are more than thankful for every penny sent to support the people and animals in need across the affected region.

We have updated our roadmap as follows:

• Stream payments to the NGOs every 2 weeks.
• Join local teams
• Continue fundraising

As part of the updated roadmap, we are planning to allocate our funds proportionally based on the developments and needs on the ground

• Hold to be used in emergency situations
• Transfer to Ahbap, HAYTAP and Hachiko NGOs
• Support survivors migrating to other regions of Turkey.
• Build an apprentice program in the DAO ecosystem, incentivise students taking on beginner jobs or small tasks in DAOs
