AfriLearn is a community-led initiative that trains and equips young climate enthusiasts with the knowledge and tools to lead grassroots climate solutions across Africa.
Since its inception, AfriLearn has successfully onboarded 50 climate ambassadors across Africa through its 6 - week Climate Ambassador Program, which trains participants on climate knowledge, environmental sustainability, and Web3 solutions for climate action.
Why AfriLearn?
The climate crisis is escalating, yet awareness, education, and grassroots engagement remain low, especially in underserved communities. – Many young people want to take action but lack mentorship, training, and resources to lead impactful projects.

Expected Outcome:
- Train and onboard 500+ climate ambassadors across Africa.
- Develop and distribute climate education materials (books, guides) for schools
- Distribute 5000 environmental card games to students in schools as this will encourage learning about climate action interactive and engaging.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to scale impact and improve access to funding, mentorship, and educational resources.
How will you use funds?
Majority of the funds raised will be used to support ambassadors training, support ambassadors in operational logistics used in organizing Climate awareness programs, and community outreach. Funds will also be used in scaling up production and distribution of interactive card games to schools, making climate education fun and engaging.
The initiative is ongoing, building on the success of our cohort 1 Climate ambassador program and currently setting pace for Cohort 2. We seeking to expand its reach and impact through regular activities and events.
