Variety Bikes for Kids provides quality bikes, helmets and locks to disadvantaged kids who would otherwise miss out on the physical, mental and social benefits of owning a bike.Heartbreakingly, the increasing cost of living is devastating some of our most vulnerable families and more kids are missing out than ever before. Variety - the Children's Charity Bikes for Kids program has funded over 13,000 bikes for disadvantaged kids since its inception 21 years ago. You can help provide a child with all the joy, fun with friends and physical benefits that owning a bike can bring.  A brand-new quality bike, helmet and lock to support one child costs $245 FIAT (0.006 BTC, 0.09 ETH, 457 ADA for example market price at time of writing). We're aiming to fund 359 bikes to for kids in need before 30 June. Research shows that cycling has numerous benefits for children, both physically and mentally. Not only does it promote physical activity and healthy habits, it also improves mental wellbeing and helps children develop important social skills. Kye says: "With Brodie having a new Adaptive Bike, I get to see him be happy and do things I never thought he'd be able to do, like use his legs to ride a bike.The bikes we've been given allow us to be active... we've never been able to get out and be active together. It's so fun to go for a bike ride with him, it gives us that normality and brotherhood. Now we're able to bike along the river... it just makes us so happy and to be able to see Brodie smile and enjoy life means a lot."  Kye
