<a href="https://teachtanzania.org/index.html" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Tanzania Eco-Tech And Conservation Hub (TEACH</a>) is a non-profit organization founded in 2020 with&nbsp;Reg.No.00NGO/R/3616, under Non-Governmental Organization Act of Tanzania of 2002 for carrying out activities of nature conservation, ecotourism, environmental justices, sustainable engineering and community empowerment. It is entitled to operate in Tanzania mainland.&nbsp; The current on-going programs are:On-the-Job TrainingThis base&nbsp;on waste clothes recycling, and in this case trainees are paid while getting&nbsp;trained on the technical fields and eco-entrepreneurship.Makerspace ProgramInvolves enhancing community empowerment by enabling participant community share skills, experience and manufacture goods using the available tools under an agreement of monthly fees for sustaining an organization and taking care of working facilities. Under this program participants gets opportunities to contribute to their household income, and reducing challenges of unemployment, social-economic inequality and enhance sustainability of environmental resources. Since its inception, the organization has succeeded to mobilize some of the working tools including; tailoring machines, carpentry tools, and computers (desktop and laptop). And, needs to add heavy duty machines to furnish its works especially accommodate commercialization of the available production technologies; recycling, and repurposing . The organization has an obligation of fundraising to get extra financial resources and materials to accommodate both on-the-job training and Makerspace activities. Target ParticipantsAbout 200 direct participants enrolled for getting skills and ability to produce goods using the available working tools. The group include unemployed youth (gender inclusive), men and women who are local artisans/entrepreneurs, and people with special needs (PWSN). MethodologyFree internet service offered to enhance online access to materials for all participant groups. Also the internet have additional role in venture data management, Online dissemination of technical training materials and designs/models, networking and online customer mapping and management. Revenue ModelThe venture generates revenue through selling recycled products and through monthly fees in Makerspace program for the use of working facilities. The model cultivates community solidarity and creativity toward solving social challenges together.
