Sendero Living Lab is a project promoted by Fundacion Madre Tierra Verde and Lolita, that incorporates innovative design elements, focused on the harmony of space through landscaping and habitability. A project with great characteristics of innovation that seeks to contribute to the offer of culture and gastronomy through various experiences in the area of ​​Barrio Escalante, San Jose.Its main value is the experimentation with new experiences in the city, the generation of urban space, where a responsible conscience towards the environment, city beautification, urban mobility, and artistic development. It is a place that encourages community participation and civic engagement through an open space for artists, critical thinkers, designers, and scientists, as well as between different disciplines, institutions, organizations, and industries. Sendero Living Lab understands culture as a social technology, an instrument for change, which if well oriented has the potential to transform the physics and chemistry of the planet for the benefit of all the entities that make it up. Sendero Living Lab's mission is: To be a participatory laboratory for the production, research, and dissemination of cultural projects that explore forms of digital experimentation and innovation in the field of culture.To be a project incubator, at the intersection between art, design, science, and technology, which contribute to creatively facing the great challenges contemporaries linked to the city and global challenges in the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals of the Agenda 2030.Develop a program of critical reflection on the digital revolution on all scales and their impact on society, promoting cultural projects that contribute to a better digital future.The activity of Sendero Living Lab orbits around four thematic axes or lines of cross-cutting research that will mark the topics of interest to the center during the next two years: gastronomyart and culturesustainabilityexponential technologies These thematic lines will be developed through LAB(s), interdisciplinary programs of research, and collaborative production designed to materialize and activate collective intelligence around specific issues.
