<h1>How can we stop HIV/AIDS all over the world by using web3 technology?</h1> HIV remains a major global public health issue, having claimed 40.1 million [33.6–48.6 million] lives so far with ongoing transmission in all countries globally; with some countries reporting increasing trends in new infections when previously on the decline. As we strive to eradicate AIDS, a disease that has affected millions of lives worldwide, the integration of cutting-edge technologies has become more crucial than ever. With the emergence of Web3 technology, we now have the potential to transform the way we tackle this global health crisis. By harnessing the power of decentralization, blockchain, and data privacy, we can create a collaborative and efficient ecosystem that enables the eradication of AIDS on a global scale. <img src="https://giveth.mypinata.cloud/ipfs/QmRduHQoSMtoAV1EZJXpy6uXzkfrsshqHEVTjdvWqUZDpR"> <h1>Who are we?</h1> BlockAIDS — the organization that assists people living with HIV and those from key affected populations (drug users, LGBT, sex workers, etc.). We are building a decentralized electronic ecosystem on the blockchain that allows millions of people living with HIV to access their records, medicines, and services from any place in the world. Our organization has developed an electronic software platform for people living with HIV from Moldova, as a pilot country. We have in our ecosystem 19 service centers (physical locations that provide people living with HIV with medicines and services). Our electronic software counts 50k active users and over 1 mln transactions (medical records) only in Moldova. Our partnerships include international organizations from the UN family, such as UNAIDS.
