Persistently embarking in the flow of life by facilitating transformative events on bamboo building, permaculture, sacred silliness, and exploration into self. The Morphian family is a nomadic intentional community, which is a new take on creating bonds with one another while exploring the vast world around us. Rooted in 2014, we found ourselves tucked away in the lush jungles of Costa Rica on 5.2 hectares of beachfront magic surrounded by indescribable primal energy from the rainforest. Finca Morpho began with a primary permaculture focus. Over the years we have managed to maintain many aspects of the permaculture principles while simultaneously growing into more practices centered on self-love.&nbsp;&nbsp; We offer a unique experience to sit with nature, others, and alone. To let go, recharge, and integrate. The jungle never stops and we’d love to upgrade a few areas of the farm! We have 7 Pillars on the farm. The Kitchen, The Resource Center, Permaculture, Hospitality, Infrastructure, Project Management, &amp; Relationships. While we don’t need funding for every pillar, here’s a list of all the resources we are calling in for them!&nbsp; The Kitchen is the heart of our community, and since it’s the center of the most action, it’s also the place where certain key items are essential to maintain the optimal health and well-being of our members. We incorporate as much farm-to-table as possible and are most usually keen to try new recipes and processing techniques to provide food and medicine for our family.We are calling in; a blender, stove, and equipment. <img src="https://giveth.mypinata.cloud/ipfs/QmTe9LLoKB98oQS591Gx66VoQJiDvc2X6wfBwaDBMxQuj9"> The Resource Center is one of our most inspiring and intriguing spaces on the farm. For the past 7 years, all trash produced on the farm has stayed on the farm and has been processed in our Resource Center. The only exception to this is that we have given metals and other valuable items that the local Recycling center will buy from you. We utilized the wonderful concepts of Ecobricks &amp; Ubuntu Blox, turning what most think of as “trash” into building resources! We have already used many in a communal cob structure, as well as a composting toilet design. We also sort all of our plastic by number, dreaming of the day we have a 3D printer, to further our mission of changing the narrative on “trash”.For our resource center, we are calling in; upgrading the space, precious plastic shredder, precious plastic extruder, 3d printer, hoolaone, and microscope. <img src="https://giveth.mypinata.cloud/ipfs/Qmbdd6VsZwnemhQc1vh3ooHaR9saXrfEVtbT3CVL1AZpzx"> Permaculture is the pillar that truly birthed the farm. If it wasn’t for Joshua and Ticon’s passion to learn and experiment, Finca Morpho would not be where we are today. The farm used to be a rice field, and then a cow pasture. Over the course of 7 years, with a lot of love, dedication, and desire to implement positive change, the farm has transformed into a permaculture oasis. We have a variety of fruit trees that produce at different times of the year, a nursery with an aquaponics system, composting systems for our food scrapes and humanure, as well as a soil sanctuary where we build up nutrients in the soil to introduce into our gardens.&nbsp;For the sake of Permaculture we are calling in; seeds, baby trees &amp; plants to further work towards food sovereignty. Infrastructure is something we constantly have to maintain. The farm runs on a 21-panel solar system. We have about 13 cabins, a communal kitchen, resource center, 6 composting toilets, a bodega, a communal rainbow house, a surf rack, a beach platform, and an epic yoga shala. Many of these structures are long-standing and could use some TLC.&nbsp;We are calling in; upgrading our solar system - new batteries, new panels - upgrading some of our cabins, as well as acquiring and installing water storage, and completing the yoga shall. <img src="https://giveth.mypinata.cloud/ipfs/QmWevgccYshJnqUgXspsLcwJgVs51KcsPijLyEAHmFmUNc"> Your contribution supports the continuity of the farm to hold space for a new way of being in this fast-changing world.
