By utilizing decentralized tools like the Sarafu Network, communities create digital vouchers that represent their commitments and resources, enhancing local trade and mutual support. Grassroots Economics seeks to connect people to their own abundance by supporting them in pooling their commitments or resources together in the form of Community Asset Vouchers - which are blockchain based credit obligations backed by the goods and services of community groups in vulnerable communities in Kenya and growing to other countries. Our vision is of communities creating their own medium of exchange linked to local values and connected to other communities via <a href="https://grassecon.org/commitment-pooling" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Commitment Pooling</a> and creating an emergent, healthy polycentric economic system. To achieve a collaborative environment, we need to align incentives in the team. Web3 has been exploring that since its beginning and yet, we still don't have a tool that covers the needs of an early-stage team.Such teams struggle to maximize their runway while building a strong team to deliver on a common goal. Contributors seek recognition and rewards according to their contributions to the project. They are often frustrated with the lack of financial distribution and ownership and feel discomfort negotiating their salaries.
