Vladimir Tamara Patino

Lensenia is a village near Seria in the Falaba District.<img src="https://www.pasosdejesus.org/lensenia/imagen/location_Lensenia.png" />It is dry and hot (around 99°F at midday) in a sparsly populated region.<div class="ql-video-wrapper"><iframe class="ql-video" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="true" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/B80Kof9Arns"></iframe></div> In November 2024 there were fewer than 500 people living there.<div class="ql-video-wrapper"><iframe class="ql-video" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="true" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/KRFhfwM4-K4"></iframe></div> During a visit by evangelist Daniel Adentuji, pastor Sheku Marah, and Vladimir Tamara in November 2024, the Lensenia leaders repeated their desire to have a second water well, as the current one is insufficient, especially during the dry season. We have a quote of US$8,200 from Alphonsi Barry for<ol><li>transporting heavy equipment and drilling the well,</li><li>installing a concrete foundation,</li><li>installing a hand pump, and</li><li>training the community on water well maintenance.</li></ol>We are still seeking quotes. Meanwhile, we are raising funds for the water well with a goal of US$8,200 and inviting the Lensenia community to develop a reforestation project that they can implement once they have the water well. <a href="mailto:vtamara@pasosdeJesus.org" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Vladimir Tamara</a> has volunteered to raise these funds under the voluntary supervision of the Menonnite Church of Suba, Colombia; Hayat Church in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA; Pastor <a href="zechariahconteh3@gmail.com" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Zechariah Conteh</a> of Kabala; Pastor <a href="marahsheku73@gmail.com" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Sheku Marah</a> of Seria (very close to Lensenia); Evangelist <a href="experienceevangelisticministry@gmail.com" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Daniel Adentuji</a> of Ghana and the Lensenia community.
