River Bar and Gallery

Hello! We are Kourisa and Gil of the River Bar and Gallery. Our goals and dreams as a small business is to give to the artists. Thus the “RIVER GIVER” We will be dedicating funds to the non profit side of our gallery allowing artist to sell artwork with zero commission and host&nbsp;&nbsp;their own shows to raise support. We often work with artists to host free events supporting art, culture, and inclusiveness. An example of this is we are partnering with local artist Shaka Lei Kaumaka to host free events everyday of ETH Denver 2023 with open mics workshops and jams.&nbsp; Our mission is to open the door to a collaborative experience that creates ties within all communities, inclusive to all without focusing on one particular. Making art really accessible and supporting local artists along the way. Our gallery is 100% to the artist, unlike other neighboring galleries that charge up to 70% commission. Any artists that are interested in getting involved at River need to only just do that “Get involved“ River gallery was started during Covid, and the journey to sustainability has been a rough road. River currently leases the property, however our dream is to own it, protecting us from developers taking over the space. Excited to learn and imply more about the Blockchain so we can share that knowledge with creators as well as give them a space to create.
