<p>Harmonica enables fast sense-making by having 1:1 dialogues with your team members, using advanced prompts and RAG to synthesize their responses and ask additional questions if needed. It saves a lot of time (no need to process inputs from participants), makes powerful frameworks such as Sociocracy, Agile, or Cynefin very easy to use, and makes sense-making more engaging and robust.</p><h2><strong>The Problem</strong></h2><p>Sense-making is the most underserved need in decentralized governance.&nbsp;<a href="https://blog.harmonica.chat/before-the-proposal" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>Our research funded by Arbitrum</strong></a>&nbsp;showed that DAOs desperately seek alignment, but often struggle with OKRs, purpose statements, RFPs, theories of change, etc. These collective intelligence artifacts create guardrails for decision-making, and are often co-created in small groups of people with high context, which heavily relies on facilitation skills of team members responsible for governance or strategy. Facilitation of sense-making takes too much time and effort – normally 1-2 months of hard work to engage more people and process their inputs. This limits the agility and effectiveness of DAOs in defining direction and making decisions.</p><h2><strong>The Solution</strong></h2><p>Generative AI + conversational UX = chatbot for superfast deliberation / sensemaking. By talking to participants 1:1 and synthesizing their responses, our chatbot enables more people to participate in important discussions and saves a lot of time.</p><p>Harmonica aims to reimagine group sense-making by using Generative AI, chatbot UX and facilitation templates. It synthesises participants' input into OKRs, RFPs, proposal drafts, roadmaps, etc. without people talking to (arguing with) each other directly. It removes conflict from the process and increases engagement. Participants can be candid with their opinions without offending others, hear positions and arguments independent of individual personalities, bypass organisational politics, and still benefit from a deliberative process that bridges opinions and boosts alignment.</p>
