That's why every month our community of 100+ Ethereum power users goes through hundreds of tweets, blogposts, dashboards, newsletters and products, to surface the ones that stand out. Everyone can join them and start sharing, upvoting, and discussing the links with our community. Everyone can also just read Kiwi and join our 2,000+ monthly readers. Like the one we did <a href="https://paragraph.xyz/@kiwi-updates/pluralistic-future-of-l2s-results" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">about L2s with Lens</a>, where we ended up receiving 20+ submissions, including ones from people such as Marek (Co-Founder @ Celo), Simon de la Rouviere (Co-inventor of ERC20), and Jason Chaskin (Researcher @ Ethereum Foundation). And one of the contest prompts came from Vitalik: <img src="https://giveth.mypinata.cloud/ipfs/QmRF2XTm3oLzCrzokshYWyUyPEytgbuWmjkCd2gn8gUJMR"> We also care deeply about decentralization. That's why all Kiwi content - 13,000+ links and 4,000+ comments - is stored on a P2P network. This means that everyone can build their own client, like on Farcaster or Lens. There's been already alt client like <a href="https://kiwinews.lol/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">kiwinews.lol</a> and search engines like <a href="https://knsearch.x4901.xyz/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">KNSearch</a>. Also, everything on Kiwi is open source: our front-end, back-end and protocol code. So the fruits of our R&amp;D work on key delegation, onchain ads, and implementing passkeys is publicly available for other projects to use. Since we wanted to stay independent, we refused to take VC money, and since the beginning we have been living off grants, a bit of revenue, and our savings. So far we received grants from Optimism Retro Funding, Octant, Gitcoin OSS rounds, Farcaster, Purple, and a few more. EthStaker is a 50,000+ person community made up of stakers and whose mission is to support the decentralization of the Beaconchain. Supporting decentralization means that, when possible, we encourage users to solo stake and we support and draw attention to projects that make the solo staking user experience easier. We are a 501(c)(6) nonprofit (awaiting federal status). Due to technical and financial barriers, solo staking isn’t always a viable option for everyone. Stakers that use a protocol to stake their ETH can still make choices that can directly benefit the health of the chain. The choice of protocol is characterized by a number of factors that apply to the protocol: degree of decentralization, permissionlessness, tokenomics of any liquid staked token, commitment to self-limit, etc. Project alignment can also be gauged by softer measures: communication from the team, willingness to engage with the community, funding of public goods, good faith participation in protocol-level discussions, etc. These are things that we aim to educate the wider Ethereum community about when they go to make a decision on where to stake. The EthStaker community is a community of people who are passionately interested in this technology developing with as much success as possible. We want to maintain the number of solo stakers by improving their 'quality of life' while also adding new ones where possible. Large monied projects have VC funding and revenue to advocate for their interest - solo stakers don't have this. This is where EthStaker comes in - we advocate for and represent solo stakers in protocol changes, in incentive structures, and in development. Nouns Amigos is a group of builders on a mission to expand Ethereum's reach through public goods and Nouns art and code. Since June 2022, we have enabled a building environment in one's language across Latin America and beyond. We have boosted the community for almost 3 years through funding mechanisms such as rounds, contests, and grants. We grew as a builders community, evolving from small, contained ideas (Prop House rounds) into more substantial and impactful projects (Nouns Amigos Grants). We have run 6 <a href="https://prop.house/0x58fcf38562f7402aad42a27bd783bd0892870536" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Prop House rounds</a>, 34 <a href="https://rounds.wtf/nouns-amigos" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Farcaster rounds</a>, three contests in <a href="https://uplink.wtf/nounsamigos" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Uplink</a>, and the first season of Nouns Amigos Grants with 20 approved proposals in <a href="https://snapshot.box/#/s:nounsamigos.eth" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Snapshot</a>. This has strengthened the community and enabled collaboration between builders. All grants are voted with <a href="https://manifold.gallery/eth:0x964629a577ebd3d1cc9ce4361bdcc1abb282132f" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">AMIGO</a> tokens, which are earned through proof of work. This has deepened community members' engagement and encouraged a more critical mindset while voting. We introduced accountability measures as part of the Nouns Amigos Grants, such as retroactive funding and the Nouns Amigos Gardeners, who validate project milestones to unlock funds, ensuring resources are used effectively. So far, we have deployed +100 ETH to 110 proposals and dozens of individuals in our weekly Rounds in Farcaster, impacting around +´200 individuals distributed in at least 12 Spanish-speaking countries, creating opportunities for builders to impact their local communities. The Nouns Amigos community is a consistent group of quality builders.
