Welcome to Anticlub House! We're a music and cultural hub in the heart of Mexico City, run by two women. Our mission is to nurture emerging talent, provide a venue for independent musicians, and be an educational lighthouse for the Mexican creative community.Through organizing concerts, festivals, and workshops, we not only showcase the artists talent, but also ensure they are compensated fairly for their work. Our DIY ethos reflects in everything we do: Empower & teach artists how to thrive in an increasingly commercialized landscape.However, we're not just about music—we're a cultural center offering free workshops and talks covering everything from independent music and self-management to concert photography and street art.In 2024, we're thrilled to host the first-ever musical workshop on Blockchain technology in Mexico City, presented by the Argentinian collective, MusicaW3, exclusively for women musicians.The journey of Anticlub House began when its founders, Alexa Olán and Peppers Jett, transformed Peppers' grandma's house into a thriving space that stands against the city's rising gentrification. Milestones We've welcomed over 100 national and international musicians in our two years of existence.About 40 concerts by independent artists have taken place here, featuring talent like Death Valley Girls, Jessy Bulbo, Margaritas Podridas, Los Fresones Rebeldes, Mint Field, Belafonte Sensacional, Vondré, Carrion Kids.We've held around 10 free workshops and talks on music, independence, and self-management.In March 2024, we hosted our first workshop on Blockchain technology for musicians and artists led by Sol Siete from Argentina, creator of 𝙴𝚕 𝙼𝚎𝚝𝚘𝚍𝚘 𝚆𝚎𝚋𝟹, the first music workshop on Blockchain technology designed by the MusicaW3 collective. This was the 1st time a workshop for musicians on Web3 ever happened in Mexico City.Anticlub Radio is a radio show broadcasted on Psyched! Radio San Francisco, that acts as a dedicated platform we've created to amplify the Anticlub creative community.PressAnticlub House celebrates two years of being an inclusive and welcoming space for art, where musicians, muralists, photographers, and videographers have expressed themselves authentically and without restrictions.
